Artificial intelligence is rapidly changing scientific activity - from literature search and data analysis to writing articles and identifying new research directions. Modern AI tools help scientists work more efficiently, find hidden connections between publications and accelerate scientific discoveries. The ability to navigate these technologies becomes a necessary competence for every scientist.
With this webinar, we are kicking off a series of events, dedicated to the practical and responsible use of AI tools in scientific work. In the program 28 May: an overview of AI applications for different stages of the research life cycle and working with Research Rabbit and Litmaps applications.
Speakers: Tatyana Yaroshenko (DNTB of Ukraine), Svitlana Chukanova (NaUKMA)
Research Rabbit та Litmaps are free next-generation AI tools, which radically change the way of searching and analyzing scientific literature. Research Rabbit builds interactive maps of connections between publications - shows, which articles cite each other, which of the authors works in related topics, and automatically suggests new relevant sources. The researcher sees not individual articles, and a holistic landscape of a scientific topic. Litmaps visualizes the development of the scientific field over time: how the research tradition was formed, which jobs are key, where new directions appear. This is especially useful at the beginning of research - to quickly navigate the topic and not miss important sources.
