Methodical association

Priority areas of activity:

• work of libraries of higher education institutions on optimization and updating of library funds;
• improvement of library services to ensure high-quality and prompt user service in online and offline modes;
• work of libraries of higher education institutions to increase the publishing activity of higher education researchers, organization of user access to electronic scientific databases;
• increasing the level of information, digital, media literacy and academic integrity in the academic space of higher education institutions;
• detection, study, generalization and dissemination of innovative work experience;
• increasing the professional competence of library specialists of higher education institutions;
• development of professional contacts and interaction with libraries of other systems and departments.

For 2025 year, the following issues will be considered at the meetings of the Methodological Association Council:

● approval of the plan of work of libraries of the Ministry of Education on 2025 year;
● electronic resources as a source of satisfying information needs in higher education libraries;
● media literacy and information hygiene as a direction of activity of libraries of higher education institutions;
● information resources of the library: support of science, education, research;
● problematic issues of updating document funds in libraries of the Ministry of Defense;
● participation of libraries - members of the methodological association in the scientific and practical conference "University Library: Modern format of educational and scientific activity in the period of global challenges » (to the 105th anniversary of the Scientific Library of the Ukrainian National University named after. adm. Makarova);
● on the preparation of reporting and planning documentation.
