Brothers Cyril and Methodius are educators, creators of the Slavic alphabet, the first monuments of Slavic writing and Old Slavonic language, preachers of Christianity. The Day of Slavic Literature and Culture in Ukraine is celebrated annually since 1994 year, in accordance with the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine. IN 2004 The holiday was also confirmed by the Decree of the President of Ukraine. On the occasion of this holiday in the customer service department of the Educational and Scientific Humanitarian Institute and the Faculty of Maritime Law of the Scientific Library of NUS.. adm.
