On the occasion of the holiday - Europe Day in Ukraine, which is celebrated 9 May, Group students visited the group 1531 Design Department, Together with the teacher - Danilchenko NV. For them, the employees of the department prepared an educational event - information hour "Europe Day - a holiday of peace and unity".
During the event, those present learned about centuries-old history, norms of coexistence and values of European countries. Emphasis was placed on that, that Europe Day in Ukraine symbolizes the country's desire for stability, democracy and security. Interesting facts about the European Union and Ukraine's achievements on the way to it were also brought to the attention of those present.
A review of the editions of the book exhibition "Ukraine - the heart of Europe" introduced the participants to the literature from the library's collection about the achievements of Ukraine as a state, which is capable of becoming an equal member of the European Union.
The highlight of the event was the quiz "Let's open Europe together", which caused a lot of positive emotions. Це була чудова можливість перевірити та оновити свої знання про європейські держави, розширити кругозір та весело провести час! За кожну правильну відповідь учасники отримували солодкі призи. А переможницею пізнавальної та цікавої вікторини стала студентка Філатова Владислава.
Підсумком інформаційної години став висновок про те, що День Європи в Україні – це свято незламної єдності, солідарності, взаємопідтримки та поваги у боротьбі за свободу. І починається воно з кожного, хто мріє про квітучу Україну .
