Recently, the Admiral Makarov Scientific Library received a valuable gift from the National Library of Ukraine named after Yaroslav the Wise - a modern textbook:

The training manual is the result of the ORTIMA project (Open practices, transparency and integrity for modern higher education) within the Erasmus+ program of the European Union. Scientists of the National University "Lviv Polytechnic" joined the project, Sumy State University, Donetsk National University named after Vasyl Stus, Lutsk National Technical University, National Antarctic Science Center, National Agency for Quality Assurance of Higher Education, Graz University of Technology (Austria), Wroclaw University of Science and Technology (Poland), University of the Cote d'Azur (France), of the European Council of Doctoral Students and Young Researchers and the international organization EIFL (Knowledge without borders).
This manual, first of all, intended for students of the second and third levels of higher education (master's and educational-scientific), who plan to implement the principles and practices of open science during research in various fields, in particular in information and natural sciences and technologies. The authors are fully aware of the importance of developing relevant knowledge and competence in the early stages of a scientific career. The publication will also be useful for experienced scientists, and for the management of scientific institutions and institutions of higher education, librarians, specialists in research support and scientific data management, as well as other persons, professionally involved in the scientific and educational ecosystem.
This edition will be a significant addition to the library collection and a reliable reference for those, who seeks to implement open scientific practices in the educational and scientific environment.
