Employees of the Scientific Library of NUS named after. adm. Makarov in the modern conditions of the information society contribute to this, for university students, especially freshmen, were able to properly process information sources and possess academic integrity skills.

16 October Kateryna Bilonozhko - librarian 1 university book collection categories, coordinator of the group for the promotion of academic integrity at the NUK named after. adm. Makarova held online lectures as part of the "Freshman's Month" series of events: “Basics of information culture” and “Academic integrity: course for education seekers” for group students 1441 Faculty of Marine Economics. During the lectures, first-year students learned how to effectively use the information resources of the University Scientific Library and open access resources, etc..

First-year students were informed about that, how to work with information correctly, the importance of ethical principles and rules of academic integrity is emphasized, which are the basis of successful study and scientific work. Information was also provided about NB resources with an emphasis on electronic ones and the possibility of using OC Android in the process of working with the Electronic catalog.

We hope so, that the provided information will be an impetus for further honest learning and will help to become successful in the field of economics and finance.
