To the 90th anniversary of the birth of Mykhailo Mykolayovych Alexandrov

22 March would be fulfilled 90 years since the birthday of the outstanding scientist-shipbuilder, doctor of technical sciences (1973), professor (1975), Honored Worker of Science and Technology of the USSR (1991), rector of the Nikolaev shipbuilding institute (MKI) (1975–1993) Mykhailo Mykolayovych Alexandrov (1932–1993). Mykhailo Mykolayovych Aleksandrov paid a lot of attention to the organization of scientific work and the reorganization of training at the Moscow Institute of Technology, did a lot for the development and construction of the institute. He was awarded the Makarenko medal for his teaching activities. He worked on the transformation of MKI into the Maritime Technical University. Established international ties of the International Institute of Higher Education in the field of higher education. To the circle of scientific interests of M. M. Aleksandrov included ship devices, light shipbuilding and safety at sea. Author of a number of books and monographs on these issues. List of scientific works of M. M. Aleksandrov exceeds 70 names.
