15 On September 10, the Scientific Library of the Admiral Makarov National Technical University became for the first time an open platform for participants of the Educational Platform within the XXVIII International Theater Festival "Melpomena of Tavria".
On this day, the library became a space for meetings, open communication, exchange of ideas and meaningful dialogue. The Educational Platform program combined three measures at once: presentation of the exhibition, a meeting of the speech and integration club and a public discussion, devoted to issues of language and Ukrainian identity.
The participation of well-known representatives of the theater gave special significance to the event, educational, scientific and literary environment. They joined the work of the educational panel: Oleksandr Book — President of the Melpomene Tavria International Theater Festival, general director — artistic director of the Kherson Theater named after M. Kulisha, People's Artist of Ukraine; Taras Kremin — candidate of philological sciences, professor of Admiral Makarov National Technical University, Commissioner for the protection of the state language in 2020-2025; Viktor Mozgovy — vice-rector for scientific and pedagogical work, educational and humanitarian activities of Admiral Makarov National Technical University, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, professor, director-producer of the Mykolaiv Academic Art Drama Theater; Volodymyr Demchenko — candidate of philological sciences, docent; Olena Malyarenko - a writer.
During the discussion, the participants talked about the Ukrainian language as an important component of national identity, її роль у культурному просторі та значення слова в часи суспільних змін. Відверта розмова дала змогу поглянути на ці питання з різних професійних і творчих перспектив, почути цікаві думки, поставити запитання та долучитися до спільного осмислення актуальних тем.
Importantly, що Освітня платформа стала не просто частиною фестивальної програми, а й можливістю об’єднати театр, education, науку, літературу та бібліотечний простір. Саме такі зустрічі створюють середовище для живого діалогу, народження нових ідей і взаємодії людей, яких об’єднує любов до українського слова, culture and art.
Для Наукової бібліотеки НУК імені адмірала Макарова особливо цінно бути простором, де книга, knowledge, культура й живе слово зустрічаються в одному місці, а бібліотека стає відкритим майданчиком для змістовної комунікації та культурного діалогу.
