To the 85th anniversary of the birth of V. Boychenka

3 May should be fulfilled 85 years since Valery Petrovych Boychenko's birthday. Virtual exhibition "And spring is coming again, and the starlings are chirping...» is dedicated to this date and honors the memory of the outstanding poet, teacher, local historian and public figure, whose creativity and life path are inextricably linked with Mykolaiv.

The exhibition introduces the artist's life path, and also presents collections of his poems, stored in the fund of the Scientific Library of the Admiral Makarov National Shipbuilding University.

Valery Boychenko's role as a poet, who subtly felt his native land, and as a public figure, who consistently defended the Ukrainian word, difficult to overestimate. His activity became a significant contribution to the cultural life of Mykolaiv and Ukraine.
