Heads of higher education and research institutions, scientific and scientific-pedagogical workers, librarians, publishers and all interested parties are invited to the webinar “Effective use of permanent DOI identifiers, ISSN in modern scientific communication of publishers and authors ”, conducted by the State Scientific and Technical Library of Ukraine with the support of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.
The webinar will take place 24 May 2021 year about 11:00 Kyiv time.

The webinar will be hosted by Crossref officials and representatives of the ISSN National Center in Ukraine. Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions to the speakers and join the discussion.

• Why publishers and authors need a DOI.
• How DOI and metadata will help you as a publisher and author (permanent links; opportunity to see, who cites your work; participation in other Crossref services; integration with other persistent identifiers, such as ORCID, to update the researcher profile).

• How to get DOI? Contract with CrossRef.
• What ISSNs are needed for.
• Which objects are assigned an ISSN.
• How to obtain ISSNs.
