
Every year 8 June Humanity celebrates World Oceans Day - the most powerful power of nature. The date was approved in 1992 the year at the UN World Summit from the environment and development in Rio de Janeiro (Brazil). The purpose of the day is to remind people of the problems and preservation of biodiversity of the inhabitants of the sea depths and the stable ecological situation in the oceans, and the saying "Our oceans are our responsibility" became the motto.
Oceans are the lungs of our planet. They occupy three quarters of the Earth's surface, contain 97 % water reserves, occupy by volume 99 % of the entire planet and is an integral part of the process of sustainable development. According to the estimates of some scientists, am to 2030 year 40 millions of people on our planet will be employed in various fields
life activities, which in one way or another are connected with the oceans.
Our shared concern for the ocean will prevent the extinction of many plant species, animals and will allow future generations to enjoy the beauty, wealth, the potential of the World Ocean.
