
Ukraine marks an important and significant event 27 October - Day of Ukrainian writing and language, which is considered a state national holiday. The Ukrainian language is one of the richest and most melodious languages in the world. It is compared to viburnum, because she is just as beautiful, as a favorite symbol of Ukrainians, it is called a nightingale, because she is shedding, like the tender song of a singing nightingale.
The Day of Ukrainian Writing and Language is a symbol of Ukraine's statehood and independence, the basis of unity, preservation of cultural heritage. Language is not only a means of communication, but also the main factor of unification of the nation. Today, during a full-scale Russian invasion of our state, the role of the Ukrainian language grew tremendously and gained new leverage in the consolidation of society. It is she who ensures the unity of Ukrainians, stands guard over the preservation of national identity, strengthening of national consciousness.
Each person can know several languages, to be interested in other cultures, but only the native language touches the depths of her soul. For every Ukrainian, his native language is a national sign and his spiritual wealth.

- the record holder among translated works is "Testament" by T. D. Shevchenko. Starting with 1845 year, it was translated into different languages 147 times;
- the oldest Ukrainian song, a record of which has been preserved to this day, the song "Danube, Danube, why are you confused?».
