Free access to scientific information is the key to the development of scientific communication in the digital age. Today in free access - more 30 millions of scientific articles, dissertations, monographs, teaching and research materials. Millions of books are already legally available online. Admiral Makarov National University of Shipbuilding supports the movement of open access to scientific information: – through the placement of scientific works of the teaching staff, employees and students of NUS named after. adm. Makarov in the electronic institutional repository eIR NUOS; – through support in free access of electronic versions of scientific publications "Shipbuilding and marine infrastructure", "Collection of scientific works of NUS" and "Bulletin of NUS".
