15 April - International Environmental Knowledge Day
Dear users! The scientific library of the university invites you to familiarize yourself with the thematic exhibition "Ecological consciousness - the way to the future". It is exhibited in the user service department of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Automation and Electrical Engineering at the address: etc. Central, 3, aud. 109 and timed to the International Day of Environmental Knowledge, which is celebrated every year 15 April.
The history of its establishment dates back to 1992 year, when the question of the role of environmental education for the sustainable development and survival of humanity was first raised at the UN Conference in Rio de Janeiro. In Ukraine, the day of environmental knowledge is celebrated with 1996 year on the initiative of public environmental organizations.
The main task of the Day is to popularize environmental knowledge, formation of ecological culture of the population, providing information on the state of environmental safety and the environment, education of ecological thinking in children and adults.
