International Children's Day was founded in 1949 year according to the decision of the session of the International Democratic Federation of Women. The holiday was celebrated for the first time in 1950 year in 51 country of the world. In Ukraine, Children's Day is celebrated in accordance with the Presidential Decree no 30 May 1998 year. The UN General Assembly declared 1 June is World Father's Day. The event took place at the 66th session of 2012 year. The holiday was timed to World Children's Day, because children are the main joy of parents. and was intended to emphasize the role of parents in the formation of universal human values in a child. in addition, this day should remind about good relations with parents and thanks to them.
