  • differentiated reference and bibliographic service for all categories of users
  • analytical description of articles from periodicals in accordance with the topics of the main scientific directions, which are being developed at the university
  • work on filling the Institutional Repository with electronic publications of scientists, undergraduates, graduate students, students and staff of the university
  • determination of the classification index of scientific work

Provides advice:

  • on the use of reference and search apparatus, work with the electronic catalog
  • on the placement of scientific papers in the Institutional Repository
  • on issues of compiling and drawing up lists of literature for scientific works, diploma projects, term papers

Creates databases:

"Economy. Finances", "Intellectual Property", "Information technologies and systems", "Scientific works of NUS teachers", "Science of Ukraine", "Education", "Occupational Health", "Personalities", "Right", "Radio Electronics", "Regional Economy", "Sports", "Shipbuilding", "Project Management" and others.

Makes up:

  • personal biobibliographic and bibliographic indexes of printed works of the teaching staff of NUS
  • thematic research and support indexes commissioned by departments
  • digest, informational and thematic lists of literature

Organizes:

  • media events
  • classes on the basics of information culture and academic integrity
  • book-illustrative and virtual exhibitions, presentations on topical issues
