Shevchenko days at the NUK: exhibition projects of the Scientific Library
12 March at Admiral Makarov National Shipbuilding University, on the occasion of the anniversary of Taras Shevchenko's birthday and the 65th anniversary of the Taras Shevchenko National Award of Ukraine, the awarding ceremony of the winners of the contest of readers and connoisseurs of the works of the outstanding poet and Shevchenko Laureates of the Mykolaiv Oblast took place.
The scientific library joined the university-wide event, presenting the large-scale exhibition "Publications of laureates of the Taras Shevchenko National Prize of Ukraine from the fund of the Admiral Makarov Scientific Library", as well as the virtual exhibition "Laureates of the National Award of Ukraine named after Taras Shevchenko of Mykolaiv Oblast".
The presented materials familiarized the participants of the event with the creative work of the laureates of the highest state award of Ukraine in the field of literature, culture and art, contributed to the popularization of their heritage, emphasizing the significance of Taras Shevchenko's work for the development of Ukrainian culture and national identity.
