Participation in the XIV Lviv International Library Forum
WITH 18 by 21 in September, specialists of the Admiral Makarov Scientific Library took part in the work of the XIV Lviv International Library Forum in online format - the largest annual event for the professional environment. The main theme of the forum is "Library: eternal values before the challenge of change".
The event became a key platform for meeting leaders and leading specialists of libraries, scientists, teachers of higher education institutions, publishers, authors and readers, providers of information services, members and partners of the Ukrainian Library Association.
The program of the forum was focused on important issues, relating to the mission of libraries in the protection and promotion of eternal values, as well as in facing modern challenges. New approaches to popularizing reading among people of different ages became important aspects of the discussions, implementation of barrier-free principles in libraries, acquiring digital skills in libraries - Digital Education Hub, issues of library leadership in the challenges of war, etc.
Scientific Library of NUS named after. adm. Makarova is a partner of the Ukrainian Library Association, expresses sincere gratitude to the organizers for an interesting professional communication, exchange of experience, the opportunity to learn about the new achievements of the library community and get a charge of inspiration for the implementation of new creative plans.
