The scientific library of Admiral Makarov National University welcomes everyone with its originality, unique, colorful, a unique holiday - the Day of Vyshyvanka. We wish everyone to wear embroidered shirts with pride and love, remembering the great cultural wealth, which we have.
On the occasion of the holiday, in the reading room of the user service department at the Educational and Scientific Institute of Automation and Electrical Engineering, an extensive exhibition "Magic of Ukrainian embroideries". On the eve of the holiday, 15 May, library employees in embroidered clothes presented the exhibition to representatives of the student activity of the Admiral Makarov National University of Science and Technology. Students got acquainted with thematic literature, and also with embroidery, colorful towels, embroidered pictures, dolls and other products of decorative and applied art. The exposition was organically complemented by the virtual presentation "The Magical World of Embroidery" and Ukrainian songs.
The guests of the event listened to an interesting story about the history of the holiday, learned about the peculiarities of embroidery of the southern region of Ukraine, they were happy to take bright pictures against the background of the exposition.
