
Book and illustration exhibition "Safety of Seafaring" employees of the user service department of the Scientific Library at the Machine-Building Educational and Scientific Institute prepared for the International Seafarer's Day, which is celebrated 25 June.
The profession of a sailor is without exaggeration one of the most legendary professions in the whole world. Maritime professions embody everything, what romantics can dream about. However, this work carries many risks for those, who chose such a path. Unforeseen element, piracy, military operations - every exit from the port can become a real battle for their lives for sailors.
However, good technical knowledge, perfect command of the English language, familiarity with official documents - all this is necessary for solving as current, as well as some complex tasks, that may occur during the flight.
