The Scientific Library of the Admiral Makarov National Shipbuilding University sincerely congratulates its users on the Day of the State Flag of Ukraine and the Independence Day of Ukraine! These are not only state holidays, and every citizen, who by his work, preserves and creates the future of our country every day with knowledge and responsibility.
35-Ukraine again meets that anniversary of Independence in conditions of war. Every minute of freedom comes at a heavy price. The independence of Ukraine today has the price of courage, courage and sacrifice of specific people. Behind every day of our state is someone's life, someone's health, someone's unbreakable determination to stand to the end. Every day, the people of Ukraine demonstrate to the whole world, what is true pride and love for one's Motherland.
Exhibition-installation "Born Free", which was prepared by the staff of the user service department of the Scientific Library at the Mechanical Engineering Educational and Scientific Institute of the National Academy of Sciences, is intended to express respect and gratitude to those, thanks to whom we have the opportunity to live, work, study, to speak Ukrainian and celebrate this day under the Ukrainian flag on a free land.
Special gratitude to every soldier, which holds the defense and protects not only the territory of Ukraine, and the right of each of us to freedom, own choice and future.
The main emphasis of the exhibition is on materials, опублікованих упродовж 2023–2025 років у газеті Миколаївської області «Південна правда». У кожному з них — особисті історії наших земляків — військовослужбовців і військовослужбовиць, які роблять свій неоціненний внесок у боротьбу за нашу незалежність.
Також представлені матеріали про історичних постатей, які мали безпосереднє відношення до різних етапів боротьби за незалежність України: від Івана Мазепи до Левка Лук’яненка, від Андрія Мельника до Олега Сенцова.
Ці свята нагадують нам, що сила держави народжується із сили її громадян. Незалежність твориться не лише визначними історичними подіями, а й щоденною працею, відповідальністю, небайдужістю та любов’ю кожної людини до своєї країни.
