The State Scientific and Technical Library of Ukraine invites you to a free training course for scientists "Modern approaches for effective preparation of scientific publications".
The course consists of 5 classes, during which students will be able to get practical experience of working with cloud environments for creating documents, bibliographic manager of Mendeley, etc.
Schedule:
6 December - Basics of using bibliographic managers. The main types, installing Mendeley, saving posts by drag and drop .pdf and manual input.
13 December - Practice of using bibliographic managers. Links in the documents, plugin for the online version, formatting bibliography in different styles.
20 December - Practice of using bibliographic managers, part 2. Formation of own lists of literature, automatic formatting of the literature according to the specified styles. Conversion of data into tabular form, data conversion to visualization with online update.
27 December - Magazine selection, which is indexed by SCOPUS or WoS, for publication of the article. Search for Ukrainian publications, that are indexed by databases Search using the database's own tools. Peculiarities of magazine selection and verification.
Trainings will take place every Wednesday 16:00 in the conference hall of DNTB of Ukraine (m. Kiev, street. Antonovych, 180, 15 floor) or online for link .
Each lesson will last for an hour: 45 minutes - the main part and 15 minutes - question-answer block.
