On the initiative of UNESCO from 24 by 31 October 2025 year is celebrated in the world Global Media and Information Literacy Week.  Topic of the Week – «Thinking vs. AI: media and information literacy in digital spaces». This year's events are dedicated to that, how artificial intelligence is changing the information landscape and how media and information literacy helps to critically evaluate content, created with the participation of AI.

Scientific Library of Admiral Makarov National University supports and joins Global Media and Information Literacy Week - 2025 and invites the university community to familiarize themselves with the book and illustration exhibition "Information resources on media literacy". Exhibition place: user service department of the Educational and Scientific Humanitarian Institute and the Faculty of Maritime Law (etc. Heroes of Ukraine, 9, building of the Educational and Scientific Humanitarian Institute).

We also recommend using the resources the repository of Admiral Makarov National Technical University (https://eir.nuos.edu.ua/home), in which the scientific works of the teaching staff are placed, employees and students of the university in this subject.

We invite you to check your own resistance to fakes and manipulations and pass National media literacy test, which is being organized for the fourth time on the initiative of the National Media Literacy Project "Filter" of the Ministry of Culture and Strategic Communications.

Access to the test will be opened on the website(https://filter.mcsc.gov.ua/test2025/) for 3 days from 29 October (09:30 year.) am to 31 October (23:59 year.).
