He served his people, aching with his soul (to the 160th anniversary of the birth of M. Kotsyubinsky)
Recently completed 160 years since the birthday of the master of psychological prose Mykhailo Kotsiubynskyi. On this occasion, employees of the user service department of the Educational and Scientific Humanitarian Institute and the Faculty of Maritime Law (NNGI and FMP) invited design students to the reading room for a literary hour "He served his people, aching with his soul".
Head of the user service department I.V. Kuznetsova told the audience about the little-known facts of the writer's biography and creativity, whose literary output is more 50 works.
Director of NNGI, candidate of historical sciences, Associate Professor O.V.. Bobina supplemented the story with information about the social activities of the prominent Ukrainian writer, which occupies one of the most honorable places in Ukrainian literature.
Library employee S.Yu. Gordynets introduced the audience to the exhibition "Man. Share. Art", which presents the works of the jubilee from the fund of the Scientific Library. The works became the most famous among readers: "Dearly", «Interlude», "Shadows of Forgotten Ancestors".
The participants of the event once again made sure of that, that the extraordinary talent of the writer impresses with the depth of understanding of the human soul, picturesqueness, musicality of words, which makes it possible to enjoy his works even today.
