Traditional September meetings in the User Service Department of the Scientific Library at the Mechanical Engineering Educational and Scientific Institute of the Admiral Makarov National Technical University in 2026 year united students 1 and 2 courses of the Machine-Building and Shipbuilding Educational and Scientific Institutes.
In a light, relaxed atmosphere, the department staff told the students about the department's funds, their specificity and uniqueness, familiarized with the new arrivals.
Among the presented literature exhibitions, the installation "Born Free" aroused special interest. Its peculiarity is that, that the foundation of the exposition is such an unusual thing for today's youth, like a paper newspaper.
And although during the meeting the main emphasis was placed on digital services, offered by the university library, students were interested in information about traditional library services. By the way, all those willing immediately took advantage of the opportunity to get the necessary educational literature.
We hope so, that students, who visited the department on these warm autumn days, will remain interested and active users of the library during the entire period of study.
