WITH 25 February to 25 March 2021 The Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine announces a series of webinars for scientists, which will be held in English. Issues will be addressed during the webinars: how to look for research, dedicated to the Sustainable Development Goals, use authoring profiles in Scopus and the SciVal platform to find partners, analysis of opportunities for scientific cooperation. Speakers at webinars, organized by Elsevier, Bartlomej Wentzkowski specialists will speak, Krzysztof Szymanski and Kate Patirak. Webinars are designed for heads of higher education institutions, scientific institutions, members of editorial boards, researchers, graduate students and students.
Webinar program Subject 1. UN Sustainable Development Goals. How to analyze bibliometric indicators? 25 February 2021 year, 12:00 (Kyiv time), registration form. During the webinar, an analysis of the Sustainable Development Goals from a bibliometric point of view will be conducted. Participants will also learn, how to search publication databases, dedicated to the Sustainable Development Goals, where to find the necessary information about the Sustainable Development Goals, which publications were prepared based on research results, dedicated to the Sustainable Development Goals, and from which sources the funding was provided. Subject 2. How easy it is to publish a magazine and reach a wide audience? 4 March 2021 year, 12:00 (Kyiv time), registration. This webinar will be useful for those, who is interested in creating a journal or keeps a journal, intends to expand its readership or find new ways to present the content of the magazine on the Internet. Subject 3. 20 interesting things, which can be performed using an institutional repository 11 March 2021 year, 12:00 (Kyiv time), registration. As the world of digital science expanded, so did the role of intellectual property. At present, the modern repository shows not only the articles of teachers. Other interesting things can be seen in Digital Commons repositories. Subject 4. How to work with the author's profile and preprints in Scopus? 18 March 2021 year, 12:00 (Kyiv time), registration. There are more than one in the Scopus database 16 millions of author profiles. After the latest updates, Scopus also includes preprints. During the webinar, participants will learn, how to work with author profile and preprints in Scopus, how author profiles are created, what information can be obtained from the author's profile, what preprints exist and why they are in Scopus, etc.. Subject 5. SciVal for researchers: cooperation and search for partners 25 March 2021 year, 12:00 (Kyiv time), registration. The webinar will focus on international cooperation of the institution, tools and functionality, as well as about that, how cooperation affects certain indicators.
