Research4Life is represented by the American Physical Society (APS) as a new partner!
To the attention of the scientific community and all interested parties!
Company Research4Life Presents January issue of the newsletter, which highlights interesting news about attracting new partners and initiatives from partners.
Research4life welcomes American Physical Society (APS) as a new partner!
Mission American physical societiesa - to develop and spread knowledge of physics for the benefit of mankind. This is a global mission, aimed at positive social changes and education for all through the spread of science and increasing diversity and equality. Access to Research4life is aimed at supporting a wide range of researchers, which can otherwise be excluded from the spread of academic studies ”.
This partnership greatly improves access to fundamental knowledge without expenses and barriers. At the same time, APS announces financial support for publications open access to authors from these countries in the Physical Review series - as in hybrid, so in gold magazines. This guarantees, that authors can participate in an increasingly open access global research environment in the future".
Magazines Physical Review widely regarded as one of the most important and high-quality scientific journals in the world. Journals are edited by scientists for scientists, and any surplus directly benefits global communities, which APS serves to improve science. For the last 13 years journals published research, which led to the Nobel Prize in Physics.
Physical Review Letters (https://portal.research4life.org/content/journals?value2=Physical+Review+Letters&option2=fulltext&operator2=AND ) and Physical Review X (https://portal.research4life.org/content/journals?value2='Physical+Review+X%27&option2=full text&operator2=AND ) are the most influential journals of their kind in the category "Multidisciplinary Physics".
For many years, APS has supported researchers in the global south in accessing Physical Review journals. WITH 2006 of the year cooperates with INASP and by the Strengthening Research and Knowledge System program, to provide free online access to nonprofit institutions and continues to provide such access after these programs are closed. The partnership with Research4Life will continue this tradition and provide access to many more researchers and institutions around the world. Also cooperates with ICTP eJDS , to provide articles to researchers, who may not have sufficient internet access or bandwidth to access journal platforms". “In addition to working to support researchers in low- and middle-income countries, APS also provides free access to public schools and high schools in the US , enabling students of all ages to access the best research in physics".
