NUK supports the Open Access Movement
IN 2017 year, for the tenth year in a row, as part of Open Access Week (Open Access Week – 2017), a number of events are taking place around the world, that contribute to the awareness of different user audiences about Open Access (website: http://www.openaccessweek.org/). Find out and take part in events, which are planned to be held at the Admiral Makarov National Shipbuilding University within a week, you can on the website of the Scientific Library and on its Facebook page.
The Week of Open Access was opened 23 two flash mobs in October: "Open the lock" and "#ISupportOpenAccess".
Flashmob "Open Castle" was organized by the Scientific Library of the National Academy of Sciences with the participation of teachers and student youth: Faculty of Marine Economics and Faculty of Environmental and Technogenic Safety. The site for the flash mob was chosen to be the inner courtyard of the Main Building of the National Academy of Sciences. Here, at the appointed time, згуртувались студенти, викладачі та співробітники НБ НУК. Вони утворили своєрідний «живий замок» (open access symbol ), який об 11.00 відкрився, що символізувало початок Тижня Відкритого Доступу.
In the course of the flash mob "#ЯпидтримуюАблитийДоступ" the leading scientists of the university, graduate students, students and library staff took pictures with the posters:
"#I support Open Access", "#I'm open to finding new co-authors", "#ЯодкритыйЧоб ПривернутиУвагудоМогоОслийствий", "#I am open to understanding the world more deeply".
We are grateful to everyone, who participated in flash mobs and supported the Open Access Movement.
