
8 May Ukraine celebrates the Day of Remembrance and Victory over Nazism in the Second World War of 1939-1945. It was started in 2023 year in accordance with the Law of Ukraine "About the Day of Remembrance and Victory over Nazism in the Second World War of 1939-1945" and as a sign of solidarity with Europe in honoring the memory of a terrible tragedy in the history of mankind. IN 2025 This year the world celebrates the 80th anniversary of the victory over Nazism.
8 On May, the Ukrainian people remember and honor the memory of those who died in the Second World War, once again bowing their heads before the greatness of their feat, a significant contribution to victory, expresses respect to all fighters against Nazism.
Ukraine suffered huge losses in that war, becoming one of the most terrifying battlefields. During 1939-1945, more than eight million Ukrainians and other peoples were killed, who lived on our earth and fought against totalitarian regimes. The Ukrainian people know the cost of war, so honors his historical past, as well as those, Who today wins Ukraine's independence at the cost of its own life. For the fourth year already, Ukraine has repelled the aggressor. The Ukrainian people protect their native land, therefore confident of victory!
