Laureates of the Taras Shevchenko National Prize of Ukraine are our graduates and employees
In accordance with the Decree of the President of Ukraine "On events for the 65th anniversary of the establishment of the Taras Shevchenko National Prize of Ukraine, the Scientific Library of the Admiral Makarov National Shipbuilding University is preparing a jubilee exhibition of publications, connected with the life and creativity of graduates and scientific employees of our educational institution. This was discussed with the professor of the Ukrainian language department, literature and methods of their teaching, an expert of the Shevchenko Committee, by Taras Kremin, the author of the book "Shevchenko laureates of Mykolaiv region".. He investigated, that six out of almost thirty laureates of Ukraine's highest award are our graduates and employees. We are proud of the Shevchenko Laureates - authors of the Open University 1978 year of the Shipbuilding and Fleet Museum on the site of the Palace of the Commander-in-Chief of the Black Sea Fleet and Ports. Our graduates entered world history as the authors of the only example on the planet of an integrated combination of ship history- and shipbuilding, development of industry and technology, the role of the "city of ships" as the key maritime center of Europe. Shevchenko Prize, which awarded a record number of laureates for all years - and there were nine of them - the highest evaluation of the idea and its implementation. Among those three of our graduates are co-authors of the Museum:
Eduard Shorin (4 December 1933 p., m. Mykolaiv — 3 August 1993 p., m. Mykolayiv) — civil engineer, the first secretary of the Mykolaiv City Communist Party, deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of the Ukrainian SSR of the 10th convocation, rationalizer, graduate of the Mykolaiv Shipbuilding Institute, majoring in "shipbuilding engineer" (1957).
Victor Ivanov (6 February 1921 p., m. Mykolayiv) — design engineer, shipbuilder, senior engineer of the Chornomorsudnoproekt Central Design Bureau. Participant of the Second World War. A graduate of Mykolaiv Shipbuilding Institute (1953).
Lyudmila Khlopynska (7 August 1948 p., m. Mykolaiv — 12 July 2003 p., m. Mykolayiv) — Ukrainian museum worker, director of the Mykolaiv regional museum of local history, Honored Culture Worker of Ukraine. Graduate of the Faculty of Philology of the Mykolaiv State Pedagogical Institute named after. IN. Belinsky (1975).
It is important to note, what the development of the scientific concept and the idea of the design of the future shipbuilding and fleet museum belonged to the researchers of the Mykolaiv Regional Museum of Local History, as well as the council of scientists formed at the museum, civil engineers and local historians, among whom is a doctor of technical sciences, professor at Admiral Makarov Moscow State University Yuriy Kryuchkov.
Laureate of the Shevchenko Prize 1984 of the year for the novel-trilogy "Step", "It was autumn", "Meta" became a graduate of the philological faculty of the Moscow State University named after V. Belinsky (1955) Oleksandr Syzonenko (20 September 1923 p., from. Novoaleksandrivka, Bashtan district, Mykolaiv region - 12 September 2018 p., m. Kiev) - a writer, publicist, is an adult, scriptwriter.
Participant of the Second World War. He participated in the battles for the liberation of Kovel, forcing the Western Bug and the Vistula. He fought in Poland and Germany in the rank of commander of a mortar platoon. During the storming of Berlin in April 1945 was seriously injured.
After the war, he worked at ChSZ (shipwright, planning engineer, VTK controller, in the editorial office of the magazine "Agitator's Notebook" of the propaganda and agitation department of the regional party committee). Started printing with 1947 year, first in the local press ("Southern Truth", "Lilac Star"), and later - in the republican one.
IN 1951 the first collection of stories "Native Lights" was published. 1962 moved to Kyiv, headed the script department of the Oleksandr Dovzhenko Kyiv Film Studio, later he was engaged in creative work.
He is the author of numerous collections of short stories, stories and novels, feature film scripts, editor of iconic films of Ukrainian cinema. Awarded all-Ukrainian prizes for his literary works, and u 2003 received the title "Honorary Citizen of Mykolaiv", in 2010 of the year - "Honorary citizen of Bashtan district".
Shevchenko laureate 1999 year for the book of poems and symphonies "Pectoral" became a former teacher of the department of Ukrainian literature Mykolaiv State Pedagogical Institute named after. IN. Belinsky (1979–1980) Dmytro Kremin (21 August 1953 year, from. Sukha of the Irshava district of the Transcarpathian region - 25 May 2019 p., m. Mykolayiv) - a poet, publicist, is an adult, translator, educator, songwriter, scientist, artist, public and political figure.
He graduated from the Faculty of Philology (teacher of Ukrainian language and literature) Uzhhorod State University (1975). Managed the regional literary studio "Sources", worked as the head of the department of the largest youth newspaper in the region "Leninske plemya" (1981– 1990).
WITH 1991 he is the editor of the department of history and spiritual revival, head of the department of culture and spirituality, deputy editor-in-chief of the newspaper of the regional council "Soviet (native) Pribuzhzhya" (am to 2008 p.).
WITH 2010 year D. Kremin is the head of the Mykolaiv regional organization of the National Union of Writers of Ukraine, editor-in-chief of the magazine "Soborna vulytsia".

Dmytro Kremin - author of poetry collections "May Arch" (1978), "Southern Lights" (1982), "Dance of Fire" (1983), "Amber Crane" (1987), "The way through the stars" (1990), "Pectoral" (1997), "Elegy of Trojan Wine" (2001), "Chronicle" (2003), "Atlantis under the willow" (2003), "Synopsis" (2005), "Wild Boar Hunting" (2006), "Summer Time" (2007), "Selected works" (2007), "Lampade over Sinyukha" (2007), "Scythian gold" (2008), "Walled Music" (2011), "Honeymoon in Carthage" (2013), "The violin from the other side" (2016), "Grey Rainbow" (2023), "Ukrainian Apocrypha" (2024) etc.
It is important to note, that the Shevchenko Prize 1986 of the year was awarded to the author of the educational building project Mykolaiv State Pedagogical Institute named after. IN. Belinsky (1964 p.) Vasyl Skuratovskyi (25 May 1925 p., from. Skins of the Zhytomyr region - 22 September 1987 p., m. Kiev) - a famous Ukrainian architect, the chief architect of the Mykolaiv region (1954–1968).
He is the author of the hotel project in Mykolaiv on 350 places (1958), educational building of the secondary school in the village. Khristoforivtsi of Bashtan district, Mykolaiv region (1957); as part of the creative teams - the author of the general plans of Mykolaiv (1967), Pervomaiska, Voznesenska (both are 1962).
He was awarded the Shevchenko Prize 1986 year together with A. M. Shularom, AND. IS. Oksentiuk, IN. FROM. Marchenko (architects), AND. FROM. Parubochim (agronomist and gardener), AND. IN. Karplyuk for the architecture of the village. Node of Galevsky district, Lviv region.
Undoubtedly, we consider Vasyl Skuratovsky to be that person, which is related to Mykolaiv Oblast and our university in particular.
