The presentation of "Books of memory of those who died for the Motherland" was dedicated to honoring the most loyal sons and daughters of our Motherland., which took place 3 October in the reading room of the Scientific Library of the Admiral Makarov National Shipbuilding University.

This important and emotional event was organized by the joint efforts of the staff of the Scientific Library and the authors and participants of the "Heroes Don't Die" project: doctor of pedagogical sciences, Professor S.I. Yakymenko, teachers and students of the Department of Primary and Preschool Education of the Faculty of Pedagogy of the Mykolaiv National University named after V.O. Sukhomlinsky. The project participants set the goal of collecting and publishing the life stories of military men - residents of the Mykolaiv region, who gave their lives in the fight against the Russian aggressor.

Moderators of the presentation - K.A. Shapochka is a Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, assistant professor and S.O. Teslenko is a Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Senior Lecturer. The presenters of the event are students of MNU named after. IN. Sukhomlynskyi Anastasia Shpylyova (418 group) and Olesya Avsyannikova (248 group).

Emotional speeches were made by N.V. Mykhalchenko - vice-rector for scientific and pedagogical work of V.O. MNU. Sukhomlinsky, Doctor of Philosophy in Social and Behavioral Sciences, docent; O.V. Bobina is the director of the Educational and Scientific Humanitarian Institute of the Admiral Makarov National University, candidate of historical sciences, docent. Dean of the Faculty of Pedagogy O.M. Oleksiuk, barely holding back tears, remembered her students, who left a peaceful life and stood up for their country and now remain young forever...

Teachers were present at the event, students of Admiral Makarov National Shipbuilding University, employees of the Scientific Library.

Poignant poems, penetrating melodies, photos and videos of fighters, personal stories and memories left none of the participants and spectators indifferent. And books are presented at the exhibition, the remnants of exploding shells and the signal of an air raid outside the window reminded me once again, what terrible times the Ukrainian people are going through now.

Such events are our small contribution to preserving the memory of those, who gave his life for Ukraine, for his city, his family, for a free and peaceful future. This is a sign of our boundless gratitude and respect.
