The practice of open access to scientific publications is a guarantee of freedom of knowledge in Ukraine and the world. Scientific literature in open access is a modern system of distribution of scientific information, it's millions of free peer-reviewed journal articles, speeches at conferences, technical reports, theses and dissertations, research, training materials, presentations, lectures, images, multimedia etc.

The purpose of this event is to inform the scientific community of the National Academy of Sciences about Open Access resources. The Open Access Resources web navigator is a search tool, which accumulates web addresses and helps users navigate modern foreign and Ukrainian open access web resources and is published annually, starting with 2013 year.
