20 January - Day of commemoration of the defenders of Donetsk airport. Virtual exhibition "242 days of the history of courage", which we offer to your attention, dedicated to this memorable event.

Numbers 242 mean the number of days of airfield defense. The battles for him were one of the fiercest and demonstrated to the whole world an example of the resilience and courage of Ukrainian defenders, who came to be called "cyborgs". According to the most common version, that's what the enemies said about the defenders of the Donetsk airport, which could not be otherwise explained, why the garrison could not be taken by storm.
