The scientific library of the National Academy of Sciences for the Day of Dignity and Freedom
21 November according to the decree of the President of Ukraine P. Poroshenko no 872/2014 the Day of Dignity and Freedom is celebrated in Ukraine. The holiday was established "for the purpose of establishing the ideals of freedom and democracy in Ukraine, preservation and transmission of objective information about fateful events in Ukraine at the beginning of the XXI century to modern and future generations, as well as paying due respect to patriotism and courage of citizens, які постали на захист демократичних цінностей, прав і свобод людини, національних інтересів нашої держави та її європейського вибору…». З цієї нагоди у відділах обслуговування користувачів Наукової бібліотеки НУК організовано тематичні фото- та книжково-ілюстративні виставки:
