22 April - International Mother Earth Day .
April has the most dates, dedicated to the environment and its ecological problems. Among such ecological holidays should be noted Environment Day or All-Ukrainian Environment Day and International Mother Earth Day.
Apparently, it has to do with that, that with the arrival of spring, everything around becomes colorful, and April is the meridian of spring, it is also called the Earth's moon.
Dovkil's Day – national ecological holiday, which one, starting with 1999 year, is celebrated annually on the third Saturday of April.
The main purpose of the holiday is to raise the level of awareness of Ukrainians in issues, relating to the preservation of environmental safety.
International Mother Earth Day was officially celebrated for the first time 22 April 2010 year. The initiators of the implementation were the participants of the UN General Assembly. This date allows everyone to ask themselves questions, and also think about it, what useful things can I do for my home, for his mother- Earth.
