
The past 40 years from 26 April 1986 year, but Chernobyl still reverberates in the world as a tragedy, a feat and an indelible memory of the worst man-made disaster. And even with the passage of time, this pain does not subside.

Until the 40th anniversary of the Chornobyl tragedy, the user service department of the Educational and Scientific Pedagogical Institute and the Faculty of Philology of the Scientific Library of the National University of. adm. Makarov invites you to view the book and illustration exhibition "Chernobyl has no past...".
The presented materials cover a wide range of topics: analysis of the causes of the disaster, the great feat of the liquidators, life in the exclusion zone, environmental consequences of the accident.
The emotional dimension of the tragedy is revealed by fiction and documentary literature, which tells about the destinies of people, divided into "before" and "after". The atmosphere of the exhibition is complemented by illustrations, which became an integral part of it.
The book and illustration exhibition is an opportunity to see history through time; this is a bright memory of those, who gave his life to save millions, and a reminder of that, how fragile our world is.
