21 November, according to the decree of the President of Ukraine, for the eighth year in a row, the Day of Dignity and Freedom is celebrated. The holiday was established “in order to affirm the ideals of freedom and democracy, Preservation and communication to present and future generations of objective information about the fateful events of the beginning of the XXI century, as well as paying due respect to patriotism and courage of citizens, which fall 2004 year and in November 2013 year - February 2014 year stood up for the protection of democratic values, human and civil rights and freedoms, national interests of our state and its European choice ". This day is traditionally remembered for two important events - the Orange Revolution in autumn 2004 year and the Revolution of Dignity in November 2013 year - February 2014 year.
Currently, the information social campaign for the Day of Dignity and Freedom is conducted under the slogan of the previous two years - "FREE TO CREATE THE FUTURE", developed and launched by the National Museum of the Revolution of Dignity and the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports of Ukraine in 2019 year.
