Thematic meeting "Simple words of simple Slavs unite us forever"
Symbolically, that it is on the day of commemoration of Saints Equal-to-the-Apostles Cyril and Methodius that the Day of Slavic Literature and Culture is celebrated in Ukraine and in other Eastern European countries. On the eve of the holiday, employees of the user service department of the Educational and Scientific Humanitarian Institute (NN GI) spent thematic meeting "Simple words of simple Slavs unite us forever".
They came to the event: O.V. Bobbin, Director of the Educational and Scientific Humanities Institute, candidate of historical sciences, docent; students 1531, 2531 groups of NN GI and students of the 2nd year of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Automation and Electrical Engineering. Library employees told the audience about the founders of writing - the holy co-apostolic brothers-educators Cyril and Methodius, introduced the history of the holiday, traditions and interesting facts. Readers of the library were able to flip through the pages of the books, which were presented at the book exhibition "People and language - eternal and united".
This holiday unites society and connects each of us to an invaluable cultural heritage.
