Recommendations for creating and filling in information about researchers' profiles on the ORCID platform

We turn your weight, that in order to implement measures to organize researchers' digital identifiers, in particular, profiles of scientists on the ORCID platform, The State Scientific and Technical Library of Ukraine, based on the English version, has prepared recommendations for creating and filling out researcher profiles on the ORCID platform in Ukrainian. We recommend it to scientists, scientific and pedagogical workers, students, to everyone, who is engaged in scientific activity, has scientific publications and other research results, and at the same time do not have their own account on the ORCID platform, create and fill it according to the specified recommendations, given the many benefits and opportunities, which allows scientists to enter the ORCID profile. These recommendations are published on the official website of DNTB of Ukraine at the link https://goo.su/UMqD5W . The document contains the definition of ORCID ID and a description of the possibilities of its use. It is explained, that the ORCID ID is a unique open digital identifier for researchers, who can register an individual ORCID ID for themselves for free and use it throughout their career. It allows you to combine information about the scientist and his works - articles, monographs, reports, manuscripts, and also acquired education, affiliation, received grants. The ORCID platform stores and automatically populates profiles from verified sources, дозволяє регулювати ступінь відкритості інформації про дослідника, ділитися нею та повторно використовувати.
