
Recently, a literary and artistic event was held in the user service department of the Educational and Scientific Humanitarian Institute and the Faculty of Maritime Law of the Admiral Makarov Naval AcademyPaths of creativity of a genius», dedicated to the 180th anniversary of the birth of the outstanding Ukrainian playwright, director and actor Ivan Karpenko-Kary (Ivan Tobilevich).
Education seekers are present 2 and 3 students of the "Design" specialty course had the opportunity to learn more about the artist's life and creative path, who left a significant mark in the history of Ukrainian theater. Special attention was paid to his drama, after all, Karpenko-Kary's works are "One Hundred Thousand", "Host", "Martyn Borulya" still sounds relevant today, exposing human vices and at the same time inspiring good deeds.
As part of the event, the book exhibition "We read and advise you" was presented, among the exhibited editions were also the works of the writer. The highlight of the meeting was a video clip and quizzes, that supplemented the students' knowledge with interesting facts from the artist's biography. The atmosphere of the event was full of love for the Ukrainian word and pride for our cultural heritage.
Thanks to such meetings, we not only honor the memory of the classics, and we discover their word in a new way, finding answers to today's questions in it.
