Webinar for teachers of Kherson Educational and Scientific Institute of NUS named after Admiral Makarov
The Scientific Library of the National University of Shipbuilding named after Admiral Makarov actively supports scientists in matters of publication activity and development of open science. Recently for teachers of the Kherson Educational and Scientific Institute by an employee of the information and bibliographic department, Catherine Bilonozhko, a webinar was held "How to work with the institutional repository of the National Academy of Sciences - registration and placement (self -archiving) of scientific publications ”.
During the event participants: ✔ received detailed instructions on registration in the repository; ✔ got acquainted with the algorithm of self-loading of scientific publications; ✔ learned about access settings according to the open access policy;
✔ considered the process of placement of qualification works in the repository.
At the event, particular attention was paid to metadata requirements, in particular, the correct design of names, keywords and annotations.
Webinars like these help scientists increase the visibility of their research and effectively use the opportunities of open science.
